Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System’s Laboratory is seeking a senior leader to guide department activities, budgeting and strategic initiatives. The role ensures high quality laboratory services across the Methodist Hospital Laboratory, known also as The Pathology Center, through engaged leadership and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology with at least one year experience with high complexity testing required.
• MBA or MA completed within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the departments within the Methodist Hospital Laboratory, planning, budgeting and human resource management.
• Develop the Laboratory's Strategic Plan in collaboration with physicians, supervisors and staff.
• Oversee contracts for the Laboratory and ensure regulatory compliance and readiness.
