Qualifications

• AS degree or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in general laboratory procedures and data entry./computer experience required.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills required.
• Knowledge of Epic Registration and other Epic tasks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pathology Department with data entry and specimen processing.
• Prepare specimens/slides for sendouts and ancillary testing.
• Register, accession, and order specimens in EMR/LIS; ensure necessary patient information.
• Maintain laboratory records, quality controls, and safety policies.
• Distribute reports and prepare tumor board materials as needed.
• Support pathologists and technologists with routine department duties.
