Job summary

MNGI Digestive Health is seeking a full-time Pathology Clerk in Minneapolis. The role supports the pathology lab by accessioning tissue samples, answering phones, and coordinating report preparation. You will assist in send outs and direct staff to appropriate contacts, with duties expanding to other tasks as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer experience, and preferred prior lab exposure. Competitive benefits and a team-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• Previous lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accession tissue samples received in the laboratory.
• Assist with answering phones and getting the door when deliveries arrive.
• Assist with the generation of various Pathology reports.
• Task pathology reports to ordering physicians.
• Direct MNGI staff to the proper personnel when they have issues or concerns.
• Prepare and coordinate send outs of patient materials (tissue blocks, slides) to other facilities.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.
