Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or related field required.
• Experience in grossing and/or autopsy preferred.
• Ability to assist in tissue handling, histology prep and laboratory QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process surgical specimens for grossing, histology and embedding.
• Assist with bone marrow collections and related specimen handling.
• Support autopsy procedures and postmortem processing under supervision.
• Maintain laboratory areas, participate in quality control and documentation.
• Liaise with residents and staff pathologists to ensure timely, accurate results.
