Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences seeks a Professor and Chair of Pathology to lead all department programs, faculty, staff, and students. The role combines teaching, clinical activities, and research leadership within a mission-driven military medical university.

The Chair will develop curricular strategies, coordinate with the Dean and other medical departments, and oversee budget, endowment funds, and compliance.

Formación

• MD or DO degree from an accredited university.
• Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Active unrestricted state medical license to practice pathology.
• Significant experience in medical school teaching and administration.

Responsabilidades

• Administers department programs and oversees faculty, staff, and student evaluations.
• Directs teaching, clinical activities, research, and departmental administration.
• Plans curriculum with the Dean and other departments to meet learning objectives.
• Directs budgets, endowments, and resource planning for the department.
• Leads recruitment, supervision, and professional development of personnel.
