Temple Health’s Pathology Department seeks a Data Coordinator to support the recording and management of referred patient material. The role uses the laboratory information system to accession, collate, distribute, and track pathology materials and records, including outside slide review cases, and to prepare slides and reports for interdepartmental conferences.

This position also performs secretarial and transcription duties to ensure smooth department operations and high levels of customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Support Pathology Department by recording referred patient material using the laboratory information system.
• Accession, collate, distribute, and track pathology patient material and records; monitor outside slide review cases and prepare slides and reports for interdepartmental conferences.
• Perform secretarial/transcription duties to ensure smooth departmental operations and excellent customer service.
