Job summary

University Health in Texas is hiring a Pathologist Assistant to join the Anatomic Pathology team. In this role you will support and lead daily operations in the grossing room, histology lab, and autopsy services, ensuring high standards in patient care and lab excellence.

You will work under Board-Certified Pathologists, perform gross examinations, supervise staff, and help ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; PA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Texas Administrative Code of Criminal Procedure related to grossing and autopsy processes.
• Experience in a diagnostic lab setting preferred.
• Managerial or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with clinical information systems is a plus.

University Health is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Pathologist Assistant to join our Anatomic Pathology team. What You'll Do:

As a Pathologist Assistant, you’ll work under the supervision of Board-Certified Pathologists and:

What We're Looking For:
