Summary
Processes specimens for analysis and perform specified surgical pathology procedures under the supervision of the Anatomic Laboratory Manager and Assistant Manager. Follows the proper procedure in conjunction with the established quality control requirements and procedure manuals. Facilitates communication with the Grossing team members on matters of technical nature.
Master's degree from a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS) accredited program required. Minimum of one (1) year of work experience as a Pathology Assistant preferred.
Pathologist's Assistant (PA), (ASCP) Certification required
