Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree from NAACLS-accredited program required.
• ASCP certification required or eligible.
• New York State licensure or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Gross examination, dissection and sampling of surgical pathology specimens, including complex cases.
• Assist with intraoperative consultations and frozen sections.
• Document specimens and ensure accurate handling.
• Serve as a resource for challenging cases.
• Teach and mentor pathology residents and learners.
• Collaborate with pathologists, residents, histology staff, and operating room personnel to improve quality and workflow.
