Job summary

PathGroup in Victoria, TX is seeking an AP/CP board-certified pathologist to join a busy community-based regional medical center. This full-time, hospital-based position offers a broad case mix and strong collegial support.

The ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills in general surgical pathology and cytopathology, a team-focused approach, and a commitment to high-quality pathology services, with opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• AP/CP Board Certification or eligibility.
• Texas medical license or eligibility required.
• Strong diagnostic acumen and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases.
• Frozen section interpretation and intraoperative consults.
• Oversee clinical pathology functions and participate in quality assurance.
• Active engagement in tumor boards and interdisciplinary clinical discussions.
