Job summary

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP board-certified (or board-eligible) Pathologist to join a busy community-based regional medical center in Victoria, TX. This full-time, hospital-based role offers a broad case mix with strong collegial support and opportunities for mentorship across subspecialties.

The ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills in general surgical pathology and cytopathology, and a team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• AP/CP Board Certification or eligibility.
• Texas medical license or eligibility required.
• Strong diagnostic acumen and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with regional/network support.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases.
• Frozen section interpretation and intraoperative consults.
• Oversee clinical pathology functions and participate in quality assurance.
• Active engagement in tumor boards and interdisciplinary discussions.
