Job summary

PathGroup in Dallas, Texas seeks an AP/CP board-certified or board-eligible pathologist with GI/liver/transplant fellowship or significant experience to join our hospital-based practice. You will provide subspecialty expertise in GI and hepatobiliary pathology within a high-volume, tertiary-care environment.

The ideal candidate collaborates closely with GI, hepatology, surgical, oncology, and transplant teams, delivering timely, accurate diagnoses and contributing to a collegial, growth-oriented

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in AP/CP with fellowship or substantial GI/liver/transplant experience.
• Experience with GI, liver, and transplant pathology.
• Eligible for Texas medical license.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex GI, hepatobiliary, medical liver, and transplant pathology specimens.
• Provide subspecialty consultation on GI and liver cases.
• Sign out additional surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Perform frozen sections and participate in call and hospital coverage.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, hepatologists, transplant physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and clinicians.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards.
• Support QA and continuous improvement; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain diagnostic quality and collegial teamwork.
