Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking a full-time AP/CP BC/BE pathologist to join a seven-pathologist group. The role features a mix of biopsy cases with frozen sections, limited grossing, and minimal hematopathology responsibilities.

Preference for Cytopathology, GYN, or GI/Liver subspecialization; 3+ years independent sign-out ideal, but exceptional candidates will be considered. Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with shared weekend/holiday call, no travel, and strong work/life balance.

Qualifications

• AP/CP BC/BE pathologist sought.
• Preference for Cytopathology/GYN/GI-Liver subspecialization.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out biopsies and complex specimens with frozen sections.
• Limited clinical lab duties; minimal hematopathology; no autopsies.
