Job summary

Caris Life Sciences is seeking a Pathologist Associate to support the Pathology and Pathology Operations teams in daily activities, including macrodissection and microdissection. The role requires careful handling of specimens and strong documentation practices.

The candidate will work in a CLIA-certified environment, maintain LIS systems, and ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols while collaborating with supervisors and management to uphold lab standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• At least 60 semester hours with specified science/chemistry/biology requirements and ABHES/CAAHEP clinical training or 3 months of lab training in each high complexity testing specialty.

Responsibilities

• Supports Pathology and Pathology Operations in daily tasks.
• Performs macrodissection and microdissection as required.
• Maintains LIS accuracy and appropriate logs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and business information.
• Ensures quality control and QA tests and documents results.
