Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college/university.
• Completion of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program.
• PA (ASCP) eligible or in process, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical tissues.
• Submit and prepare specimens for histologic testing.
• Capture gross specimen photography.
• Assist with process improvement and quality control.
• Prepare frozen sections or touch preparations for rapid interpretation.
• Train new staff within scope of practice as needed.
• Review procedures with the Anatomic Pathology Manager.
• Attend relevant meetings and maintain equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with policies.
