Job summary

Three Notch Group invites engineering students to join the Pathfinder Internship Journey for Summer 2027 in Andalusia, AL. Interns will rotate across departments, contribute to real projects, and connect classroom knowledge to professional practice under mentors and engineers.

You'll gain experience from planning through design, field work, construction, and completion, with exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and other tools, plus safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD/engineering tools preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through departments and disciplines to experience project delivery.
• Contribute to real assignments aligning with coursework.
• Assist with preparation of plans, calculations, reports, and data summaries.
• Gain exposure to Civil/Site Development, Transportation, Environmental, Geotechnical, and Construction Engineering.
• Attend project meetings and learn from mentors and professionals.
• Use tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS.
• Follow safety, confidentiality and professional conduct requirements.
