Job summary

Three Notch Group is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to rotate through Civil/Site Development, Transportation, Environmental, and Geotechnical disciplines. Interns will assist with planning, calculations, reports, and data summaries while gaining exposure to field and office activities.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil or Environmental Engineering degrees, with strong analytical and communication skills, and a willingness to learn from engineers, scientists, and project teams

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and technical writing abilities.
• Willingness to learn across disciplines and collaborate with teams.
• Familiarity with CAD or engineering tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through departments to experience all phases of project delivery.
• Contribute to real assignments reinforcing engineering concepts.
• Assist with plans, calculations, reports, data summaries, and estimates.
• Gain exposure to services across Civil/Site Development, Transportation, Utility, Environmental, and Geotechnical areas.
• Attend meetings, participate in training, and work with mentors to set learning goals.
