Job summary

Voss Salon DFW offers an Associate Development Program, a fast-track 6-month trajectory for new cosmetology graduates to gain hands-on hair service experience and business know-how. Trainees work closely with salon educators, gradually transitioning toward a stylist role after successful completion.

You will participate in core services, learn color theory, and develop client relationships while mastering salon software and weekly coursework.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology or Barbering license required.
• Interest in developing marketing and social media skills.
• Excellent communication and a team-oriented attitude.
• Able to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work varying shifts including days, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in core hair services under guidance and with educators.
• Learn color theory and business skills to tailor client services.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build client relationships.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and salon standards.
• Use salon software to manage appointments and records.
• Complete weekly coursework and stay in good standing.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning and team support.
• Develop a portfolio and marketing efforts to attract clients.
• Cross-train on front desk duties.
