Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, and procedures manuals.
• Mathematical calculations including percentages and basic operations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and reporting.
• Understanding of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Knowledge of store security policies and cash controls.
• Experience in recruiting, interviewing and hiring processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to train and develop staff; comply with laws and policies.
• Spanish language skills may be preferred at certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Support store merchandising and proper pricing/signage.
• Help with inventory management, damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Maintain in-stock targets and enforce ordering practices.
• Provide customer service leadership and store opening/closing.
• Ensure cash handling integrity and bank deposits.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked stores.
• Operate store in the manager's absence and review financials.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation on time.
