Job summary

The City of New York Department of Homeless Services is seeking a Supervisor II Social Work to serve as a PATH Coordinator for the NoVA unit. You will supervise staff, review complex cases, and coordinate with DHS staff and shelters to ensure timely referrals and high-volume processing.

Requirements include a Master’s in Social Work and two years of related experience, with LMSW or CSW license within 18 months. The role is based at multiple Bronx locations with Sunday/Monday-Thursday shifts.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work.
• Two years of full-time satisfactory social work experience, at least one year supervisory.
• Certification: CSW or LMSW within one year of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff assessing DHS PATH referrals for domestic violence services.
• Review work and make recommendations on complex cases.
• Interface with DHS staff and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Monitor internal controls for referrals and forms submitted.
• Collaborate on procedures and control systems for high-volume referrals.
• Prepare periodic operational reports and suggest program improvements.
• Coordinate staff training and identify service gaps.
