Position Overview:

Norton Rose Fulbright seeks a patent agent with at least two years of patent prosecution experience, particularly in 5G, Wi-Fi, wireless technologies, AI, processor/memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end. This role offers a career at a prestigious global firm, ideal for professionals eager to contribute significantly. Patent agents work closely with inventors, researchers, and attorneys to evaluate inventions, assess patentability, draft applications, and respond to USPTO actions. It is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of technological innovation and IP law.

Key Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of patent prosecution experience
  • Registered or qualified to register with the USPTO
  • Strong background in wireless tech, AI, processor/memory systems, image processing, RF front-end
  • Excellent academic credentials and communication skills

Additional Skills:

  • Experience managing client portfolios
  • Preferred experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, natural language processing, wireless communications, computer vision, or related AI fields

Location: Positions available in multiple US offices (e.g., NYC, LA, Chicago, etc.). Please specify your preferred office(s) in your application.

Compensation: In NYC, Denver, LA, SF, annual salary ranges from $140,000 to $250,000, depending on market data. Bonuses are performance-based and non-guaranteed.
