Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in New York City seeks a Patent Prosecution Agent with at least three years of experience to join its Intellectual Property Practice Group. You will prepare, file, and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications and work closely with inventors and in-house counsel.

Candidates should have strong technical expertise in LTE/5G/6G networks, AI, and related technologies, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D.

Qualifications

• At least three years of patent prosecution experience.
• Strong technical expertise in LTE/5G/6G Wireless Networks, computer hardware, AI, and deep learning.
• Ability to analyze complex technologies and work directly with inventors and in-house counsel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications.
• Conduct inventor interviews and collaborate with clients to identify and protect innovative technologies.
• Prepare office action responses, conduct Examiner Interviews, and prepare other prosecution-related documents.
• Support the development and management of domestic and international patent portfolios.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and developments in patent law relevant to client industries.
