Job summary

Jobot seeks a mid-level Patent Litigation Associate for a nationally recognized IP practice with offices in Dallas, Austin, and New York. You will handle complex patent disputes and work closely with experienced trial lawyers on cases before federal courts, the ITC, and the PTAB.

Qualifications

• Mid-level patent litigation experience.
• Experience before U.S. district courts, ITC, or PTAB preferred.
• Strong research, writing, analytical and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience working with technical subject matter, expert witnesses and complex discovery.
• Patent Bar membership preferred and federal clerkship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex patent litigation matters from start to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and claim-construction filings.
• Conduct legal and technical research on infringement, validity, enforceability and damages.
• Manage written and document discovery, depositions, and expert-related discovery.
• Collaborate with technical experts and trial lawyers on case strategy.
• Support proceedings before U.S. district courts, the ITC, and the PTAB.
• Coordinate with partners and senior attorneys on deadlines and strategy.
