This role involves representing clients in patent litigation, drafting briefs, and advocating in court. About the Position:
Our client, a sophisticated national law firm, has an immediate need for a patent litigation attorney (3+ yrs) to join its innovative practice group in Chicago as an associate. This premier practice represents clients in courts throughout the United States in a variety of IP litigation matters, with significant bench and jury trial experience. Responsibilities:
· Represent clients nationwide across a range of industries in patent litigation matters
· Draft briefs, take and defend depositions, and argue motions in court
Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of patent litigation experience
· Background in electrical or mechanical engineering (BSEE/BSME preferred)
· Experience with writing briefs, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions in court
· Strong academic credentials
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $205,000 – $225,000.
