About the Position:
Our client, a premier national law firm with Midwestern roots, has an immediate need for a bankruptcy litigation attorney (3+ yrs) to join its practice in Chicago as a mid-level associate. This national practice group represents clients across a range of industries and in every type of workout, restructuring, reorganization, and liquidation proceeding.

Responsibilities:
· Represent clients in a variety of bankruptcy matters, including workouts, restructurings, reorganizations, and liquidation proceedings
· Handle receiverships, guaranty actions, and trustee sales
· Manage discovery, argue motions in court, and assist with trials
Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of bankruptcy litigation experience
· Experience in all phases of bankruptcy, including motion practice, discovery, trial experience, claims work, preference work, and workouts
· Experience with receiverships, guaranty actions, and trustee sales
· Knowledge or interest in federal and state litigation, including defensive and enforcement litigation work
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $190,000 – $265,000.
