Job summary

TechStream seeks an experienced Patent Attorney to join our team, combining strong patent-law expertise with technical aptitude, commercial judgment, and an interest in patent licensing and monetization.

The successful candidate will work with licensing, legal, technical, and business teams to evaluate patents, develop licensing positions, support negotiations and enforcement activities, and strengthen TechStream's patent portfolios.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
Registered to practice before the USPTO.
Technical or engineering background appropriate for sophisticated technology patent work.
At least 4 years of patent prosecution experience.
Experience analyzing patent claims and developing claim charts.

Responsibilities

Patent Licensing & Technical Analysis: analyze, chart and present patents worldwide.
Litigation & Enforcement Support: work with outside counsel and experts on infringement and validity positions.
Patent Portfolio Development & Prosecution: develop prosecution strategies aligned with licensing and monetization objectives.
Patent Acquisitions & Transactions: evaluate new patent portfolios and technologies with the business team.
