Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Patent Classifier to join our Patent Search and Innovation Intelligence Services Team in the United States. You will determine CPC/USPC classifications for patent applications through research and automated tools, and contribute to maintaining high accuracy in classifications.

Requirements include a CS/CE/EE degree, practical work or internship experience, and legal eligibility to work in the US with residency in the past two years.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Experience or coursework in the listed technical areas.
• Authorized to work in the United States and resided in the U.S. for the past two consecutive years.

Responsibilities

• Master the patent classification process.
• Assign classifications per CPC/USPC rules.
• Classify applications related to various technologies.
• Continually expand knowledge into new technologies.
• Collaborate within a team environment.
