Job summary

Clarivate Analytics US LLC is hiring a Patent Classifier to join our Patent Search and Innovation Intelligence Services Team in the Kansas City area. You will determine CPC/USPC classifications through research and automated tools, handling technologies across various domains. The role requires a bachelor's in CS/CE/EE and at least 6 months of research-focused work.

Applicants must be US-authorized and have resided in the U.S. for the past two years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE required or equivalent.
• Experience or coursework in security, ML, databases, and related areas.
• Research experience through work, internships, or volunteering

Responsibilities

• Master the patent classification process and CPC/USPC rules.
• Assign classifications to applications across technologies.
• Expand knowledge into new technologies continuously.
• Collaborate closely with team members in a work environment.
• Maintain accuracy and produce high-quality classifications
