Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Patent Classifier to determine CPC/USPC classifications for patent applications. You will master the classification process, assign classifications per CPC rules, and classify technologies while continually expanding knowledge in a collaborative team environment.

The role requires a CS/CE/EE degree, experience with research or internships, and the ability to work in the United States. Full-time, on-site position with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent.
• Experience or coursework in network security, cryptography, database design/management, ML, data modeling/storage/interfaces, electrical communications, image recognition/processing, fintech informatics, video encoding/decoding, VR, cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Master the patent classification process.
• Assign classifications per CPC rules and definitions.
