Location: Atlanta, Denver, Raleigh, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Silicon Valley (Menlo Park), Washington DC, Winston SalemKilpatrick Townsend’s Electronics & Software Patent Prosecution team is seeking a USPTO-registered Attorney with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of patent prosecution experience and experience drafting and prosecuting software applications in areas such as cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence/machine learning, networking, and enterprise software systems. Candidates must be detail-oriented with strong technical writing skills. Transcripts and patent-related writing samples will be requested. This Patent (Team) Attorney position offers an alternative to traditional partnership-track roles, with a lower yearly billable hour requirement. It provides opportunities to work with leading-edge clients and technologies across various fields.
Office location options include: Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO; Menlo Park, CA; Raleigh, NC; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Walnut Creek, CA; Washington, DC; Winston-Salem, NC. Candidates with corresponding state bar admission for the office location are preferred. The expected salary range is $150,000-$220,000.
