Kilpatrick Townsend is seeking a USPTO registered Patent Agent in the Life Sciences. The ideal candidate would reside in CA, CO, DC, GA, NC, or WA and be available for in-office, remote, or hybrid work schedules. Applicants should have strong writing skills and relevant experience in Life Sciences patent prosecution is preferred. An advanced degree or equivalent experience is required; expertise in molecular biology is an asset. Candidates should have at least 3 years of direct patent prosecution experience. Applicants must be detail-oriented with strong written and verbal skills. Proficiency in technical writing is a plus. Transcripts and writing samples will be requested. The expected salary range is $135,000 - $200,000.
