Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking an experienced patent litigation attorney to join its trial-focused team. You will draft and refine patent claim charts, help shape case strategy, and support litigation from discovery through trial.

Candidates must be bar admitted in at least one U.S. state with IP litigation experience; the role offers hybrid work in Texas or California with meaningful responsibility and potential for early ownership.

Qualifications

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• 1+ years of IP or patent litigation experience.
• Hands-on drafting and analyzing patent claim charts.
• Strong understanding of patent law and infringement litigation.
• Excellent legal research, analysis, writing, and communication skills.
• Self-directed, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of complex assignments.
• Creative, driven, and able to move matters forward without heavy oversight.
• Associate-level candidates preferred; senior attorneys with relevant experience encouraged.

Pay: $145,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
