About The Role

This is a West Coast position. The ideal candidate will be located in Los Angeles and able to work in the office. However, we will also consider candidates outside of Los Angeles but located on the West Coast.

We are seeking a patent assistant with at least one year of experience handling various patent prosecution-related tasks. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Some Example Tasks Where Experience Is Preferred Include:

• Preparing filing materials for US Office Action responses;
• Preparing filing materials for US provisional and non-provisional applications;
• Preparing filing materials for PCT applications;
• Drafting correspondence regarding US and foreign patent matters (e.g., filing of foreign applications, foreign Office Action responses, reporting Office Action and application filings);
• Remaining current with, and tracking, relevant docketing deadlines for US, foreign, and international patent matters.

The pay range for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 USD per year. This position is remote within the United States.
