Duties:
- Work on patent matters for leading tech companies across various industries, including space, robotics, neural networks, and automation
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to understand technical concepts and patent requirements
- Provide strategic patent advice and prosecution services to clients
- Prepare and prosecute patent applications, responses to office actions, and related legal documents
- Assist in managing patent portfolios and intellectual property rights for clients
- Communicate regularly with clients and partners to offer guidance on patent filings and strategies
- Stay updated on developments in patent law and technology trends to serve clients effectively
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Patent Agent
- Strong background in technical fields such as electrical engineering, computer science, or applied physics
- Ability to handle complex technical discussions and interact with engineers, developers, and clients
- Experience in patent prosecution, including preparing and filing patent applications
- Ability to manage patent portfolios and intellectual property matters
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Education:
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, computer science, or a related field
Certifications:
- Registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
Skills:
- Expertise in patent law and intellectual property
