Join Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, an AmLaw 50 firm, as a Life Sciences Patent Agent or Patent Attorney and become a key player in our award-winning Life Science Patent Prosecution and Counseling Team. This opportunity is primarily based in either our Silicon Valley or San Francisco offices, though experienced candidates will be considered in other office locations.

You’ll have the opportunity to work within a dynamic and interactive team that's breaking new ground for clients in the most exciting therapeutic areas on drugs in the clinic and approved drugs. Enjoy a diverse practice that focused on, application drafting, and prosecution, with a particular expertise on small molecules and extending into ADCs, Car-T, and other cell therapies. From drug candidates to approved drug products, your work will not only be at the cutting edge of the legal field but also at the forefront of medical innovation.

This position is primarily based out of our Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices and will consider strong candidates to sit in any other domestic Office. Fully remote candidates may be considered, but any request for a remote arrangement should be included in your cover letter when submitting your application.
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $250,000.
