Job summary

Htprof is seeking a Patent Agent to join its Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group in a HYBRID role across multiple locations. The successful candidate will draft and prosecute patent applications, collaborate with inventors and in-house teams, and contribute to strategy across AI, telecommunications, software, and hardware technologies.

Applicants should hold a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in a technical field and demonstrate strong technical writing,

Qualifications

• Candidates hold at least a technical degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field.
• Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in electrical, software, or computer technologies.
• Excellent technical writing, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO.
• Draft patent applications involving electrical, software, communications, and computer technologies.
• Collaborate with inventors, clients, and internal IP teams on domestic and international matters.
• Assist with IP strategy and portfolio management initiatives.
