Mechanical Engineering Patent Agent Opportunity – Washington D.C.

A prestigious law firm in Washington D.C. is seeking a talented Patent Agent to join its Mechanical Engineering Practice Group. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated attorney with a strong engineering background to work on complex patent matters with globally recognized clients. Responsibilities

Participate in patent litigation by providing technical support and related client counseling.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Strong academic credentials (minimum 3.0 GPA); advanced degrees are a significant plus. 1-5 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience. Admission to practice before the USPTO. Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Compensation

A competitive compensation package is offered, with an expected salary range between $100,000 - $158,000, commensurate with qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including:
