Job summary

SBSNW is seeking a Patch Plan Program Manager in Portland to drive enterprise patch management across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and OT/SCADA. You will coordinate schedules, testing, deployment, and remediation, while reporting progress to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead large, complex strategic projects and programs, taking accountability for successful delivery of results.
  • Manage project/program teams, including internal project managers, technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external resources.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, scope, timelines, outcomes, and deliverables using PMO tools, templates, and best practices.
  • Coordinate enterprise patch management schedules, deployment timelines, testing activities, and maintenance windows across infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, and OT/SCADA teams.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve inter-project and program dependencies, working closely with project managers and key stakeholders.
  • Track remediation progress, patch-related exceptions, risks, blockers, and compliance status.
  • Conduct analysis to estimate, monitor, and track project costs, budgets, risks, and resource needs.
  • Create and maintain the project/program operating model, including governance structure, reporting cadence, stakeholder engagement, and steering committee updates.
  • Define resource requirements and negotiate availability with resource managers.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure vendor schedules, costs, deliverables, and dependencies align with the overall project plan.
  • Establish, maintain, and update project/program risk logs, issue logs, decision logs, and status reporting.
  • Resolve project issues and escalate risks, dependencies, or blockers as appropriate.
  • Manage project change control processes in accordance with existing policies and procedures.

The Patch Plan Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving enterprise patch management activities across technology teams. This role ensures operating systems, applications, and infrastructure components are patched in a timely, risk-based manner to reduce security exposure while maintaining system stability and business continuity.

This role serves as the central point of coordination between infrastructure, application owners, cybersecurity, OT/SCADA stakeholders, change management, vendors, and business teams. Responsibilities include coordinating patch schedules, maintenance calendars, testing and deployment activities, remediation progress, patch-related risks and exceptions, and compliance reporting for leadership.
