Job summary

CCS Early LearningPAT is seeking a Coordinator to supervise PAT activities at CCS Early Learning. This role directs, coordinates and supports Parent Educators as they work with caregivers of children, delivering information on child development and social-emotional learning using strength-based, evidence-based curriculum and activities.

Collaboration within the organization and with area partners is essential. A flexible schedule with some evenings/weekends is required to assist home educators.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent earned outside the United States.
• Two years’ supervised work experience with young children and/or parents.
• Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Early Childhood, or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Experience with word processing and data entry on Windows.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development from birth to age 5.
• Knowledge of health, safety, nutrition, and adult learning.
• Familiarity with family issues and resources available to families.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.
