The University of Tennessee at Martin seeks an Education and Counseling Specialist to support families in the Parents as Teachers program. The role centers on healthy pregnancies, parent-child interaction, and development-centered parenting to foster family well-being.
Responsibilities include delivering PAT components, maintaining caseloads, conducting home visits, coordinating referrals, and documenting program activities.
This position will provide educational support and counseling activities to families with risk factors enrolled in the evidence-based Parents as Teachers home visitation program. Focus to be on healthy pregnancies, parent-child interaction and development-centered parenting and family well-being. This is a grant-funded position and employment is contingent upon grant continuation.
Minimum hiring rate $37,147.80 annually (Market Range 07) - Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
