The Pastry Associate Team Leader at Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in Kendall, FL will supervise the pastry Production Team, mentor staff, and ensure daily production lists and schedules meet the department goals.

Responsibilities include overseeing guest service, production operations, training, HACCP/compliance, and assisting in catering and café initiatives. Flexibility for nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years catering or banquet chef/leadership
• Prepared Foods Sous Chef or higher preferred
• Must be minimum of 21 years of age

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent guest service.
• Monitor all production and supervise all team members mixing and producing baked goods
• Mentor and train all production Team Members.
• Write daily production lists and ensure accuracy for all production Team Members.
• Write an effective schedule within allocated labor budget
• Ensure food quality, quantity, freshness, consistency and presentation meet standards
• Follow GMP guidelines and document HACCP/FSMA daily sheets
• Maintain organization, labeling, dating and rotation of products
• Participate in development of catering menus and recipes
• Maintain high productivity levels in catering and cafe teams
• Assist Team Leader in analysis of sales, margins, and labor
• Assist in hiring, development and counseling of Team Members
• Monitor inventory levels and participate in monthly inventory
• Ensure all food is produced in a timely manner for on-schedule delivery
• In absence of Team Leader, perform Team Leader responsibilities
