Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare foods across grilling, frying, broiling, baking, and pantry items per menu specifications.

You will maintain clean workstations, assist teammates, and contribute to high-quality dish presentation while supporting events and variable schedules. Must meet licensing, background, and age requirements as part of a dynamic gaming environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or preferred.
• A culinary apprenticeship or an Associate’s Degree with some industry experience is preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications as required by Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
• Must pass background check and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods as listed on menus for grilling, frying, broiling, baking and other methods.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Assist with special events and parties as needed; support team to ensure efficient kitchen operation.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to meet customer and chef specifications.
