Job Responsibilities
  1. Prepare food items according to production requirements and quality standards, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
  2. Follow recipes and standards for consistency, and manage portion control.
  3. Start pre-prepared food items, avoiding overproduction.
  4. Label, date, and rotate all food containers per SOP, ensuring proper storage and temperature control.
  5. Check inventory levels, prepare necessary items, and set up work stations.
  6. Report shortages or out-of-stock items.
  7. Assist in buffet setup and maintenance.
  8. Return unused food to storage, covering and dating perishables.
  9. Contribute to controlling food costs by minimizing waste and loss.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of food service or related experience.
  • Knowledge of culinary practices and procedures.
Physical Demands
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 70 lbs.
  • Periodic climbing, bending, and full mobility required.
  • Continuous standing during shifts.
  • Ability to hear timers and communicate effectively.
  • Visual acuity to ensure food quality.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Work Environment

Inside the kitchen for 100% of the shift, with temperatures ranging from -10°F in freezers to over 100°F on the line.
