The pastry line cook is responsible for plating desserts at Herons, The Umstead Hotel & Spa’s five-star, five-diamond restaurant, while maintaining organization and cleanliness. They must embody the Pastry Chef’s core values of quality, sanitation, and fair treatment of all associates. The role involves maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace as directed by the Pastry Chef. The pastry line cook reports directly to the Hotel’s Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous Chef.
