Job summary

Hai Hospitality's Uchiko Austin is hiring Pastry Cooks to join our pastry team focused on dessert production for dinner service. The morning to mid-afternoon shift runs roughly 8am–4pm and prior pastry experience is preferred. Compensation ranges from $17 to $20 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Good communication with guests and teammates.
• Ability to detect safety issues and follow guidelines.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stock inventory.
• Stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Work in hot and cold temperatures and keep workspace clean.

Responsibilities

• Prepare desserts for dinner service.
• Bake, sauce work, and other pastry tasks.
• Maintain a neat, organized workspace and proper storage.
