Job summary

Hai Hospitality, based in Austin, Texas, is a multi-concept restaurant group including Uchi, Uchiko, Uchiba and Loro. We are seeking a Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team and help create amazing desserts for dinner service.

This morning-to-afternoon shift (roughly 7am–3pm) offers $16–$20 per hour, with benefits such as medical/dental/vision insurance, EAP, 401k matching, and dining discounts. Previous pastry production experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must effectively communicate with guests and coworkers.
• Detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards.
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs and restock as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Operate ovens, grills, knives, and other kitchen equipment safely.

Job Description:Hai Hospitality is accepting applications for Pastry Cooks . In this role, you will serve as vital member of our kitchen team to create amazing dining experiences for our guests. Our Pastry team focuses on dessert production to prepare for dinner service, which can include baking, sauce work, chocolate work, and more. This is a morning to mid afternoon shift, with hours typically ranging from 7am to 3pm.
