Job summary

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. seeks a fast-learning, creative Pastry Cook to support our Pastry Team in all aspects from preparation to production to presentation. You will train under highly regarded chefs while working in a luxury hotel environment.

The position requires a team-oriented, detail-driven professional who can thrive in a 24-hour operation and contribute to desserts made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Qualifications

• Fast-learning and creative pastry cook with prior similar work experience.
• Basic knowledge of culinary operations and food safety.
• Team player who works well in a fast-paced, 24-hour operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastry doughs and fillings from scratch.
• Produce pastries for service and presentations.
• Maintain cleanliness and mise en place for pastry station.
