The ideal candidate will have at least one to two years of previous Pastry Cook experience. Availability for mid and evening shifts is required, including holidays and weekends.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare pastry and food products, including portioning, plating, and garnishing.
  • Inspect and maintain food prep areas for safety and sanitation.
  • Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures.
  • Check the freshness of ingredients and rotate stock accordingly.
  • Follow recipes and standard portion sizes.
  • Handle, store, and rotate food products per policies.
  • Bake and cook food according to recipes.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately.
  • Portion, arrange, and garnish food for presentation.
  • Test food for quality and doneness.
  • Conduct tastings to ensure consistency.
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnishing standards.
  • Prepare fruits and vegetables for cooking.
  • Assist in food prep during off-peak hours and busy periods.
  • Close the kitchen following the checklist.
  • Maintain communication with the culinary team.
  • Ensure grooming and uniform standards are met.
  • Handle guest allergies with utmost seriousness and follow allergy protocols.
  • Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Attend meetings and suggest improvements.
  • Support guest service standards as needed.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Lift and move weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Stand and walk for entire shifts, including stairs and uneven surfaces.
  • Work in hot and cold environments, and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
