THE ROLE:
As a Cook 2 at NoMI, you will be part of a dynamic and passionate culinary team at one of Chicago’s premier dining destinations, located within the Forbes-rated Park Hyatt Chicago. Renowned for its refined cuisine, impeccable service, and elevated ambiance, NoMI offers a unique opportunity to work in a luxury environment where precision, creativity, and consistency are the standard.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing elevated dishes with finesse across advanced cooking stations, working with minimal supervision while showcasing deep expertise in culinary techniques, ingredient knowledge, and presentation. You’ll play an active role in maintaining the quality, efficiency, and rhythm of the kitchen by supporting daily prep and service, upholding rigorous standards of cleanliness and organization, and mentoring junior team members.
The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality, and a genuine passion for craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous growth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative kitchen that consistently delivers memorable, high-end dining experiences to every guest.

WAGE INFORMATION:
The hourly rate for this position is$27.45. This position is also eligible to earn overtime and premium pay under certain circumstances.
