Job summary

The Global Ambassador, a 141-room hotel by hospitality innovator Sam Fox and part of Author & Edit Hospitality, sits at the crossroads of Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, offering world-class dining and elevated wellness in a meticulously curated setting.

As a Pastry Cook, you will prepare high-quality pastries to recipes and presentation standards, maintain an organized station, follow the Executive Chef's directions, uphold food safety policies, assist with prep and deliveries, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a pastry cook in a restaurant environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and multi-task.
• Ability to spend long periods on your feet and lift 50lbs.
• Passion for food preparation and providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station.
• Follow directions from the Executive Chef and Lead Cooks.
• Adhere to all kitchen policies, procedures, and food safety/sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with prep work and ingredient deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
• Maintain open communication with restaurant servers and managers.
• Support the culinary team in preparing for high-volume service.
